There is a gennaker available for the HAPPY CAT VISION.
This asymmetric triangle shape light cloth sail enhances speed by approximately 30 % whilst sailing broad reach, to forward of the beam.
It comprises:
- 11 m2 sail area
- halyard
- sheets
- mast-sleeve
- blocks
- pulleys
For attachment to the HAPPY CAT VISION an eye-bracket is fitted to the mast as standard to suit the halyard, and a bowsprit integrated guide for the gennaker downhaul. A mast-sleeve needs to be riveted to the mast and 4 pulleys require to be shackled to the trampoline-frame. The elasticated bow-deck pouch is suited for stowage of the gennacker when not in use.
